About Us - How it All Started

Back in 2008, our MD (that's the Master of Dancing!) had a brilliant idea. It all began way back in 2002 when he was a lone DJ rockin' the house with his Mobile Disco business in Kirkcaldy, Fife. 🎧 The crowds loved him, and he even bought over a Bouncy Castle company in 2006. But he didn't stop there! Oh no, he decided to bring both awesome businesses together under one roof, and voilà! World of Parties was born! 🎂

Now, 2008 was a bit tricky with that long recession hangover, but you know what they say, "When the going gets tough, the tough throw the biggest, baddest parties!" And that's exactly what we did! 💪 World of Parties powered through, year after year.

We rode that roller coaster with style, offering awesome Mobile Discos for Weddings and Birthdays, scrumptious Chocolate Fountain Hire for Corporate gigs, and thrilling Kids Party Entertainment for all the little rascals out there. And we didn't stop there - we partied all across Scotland & the UK with mega Fun Fair Rides, bouncy Bouncy Castles and Inflatables, and more! 🎪

We didn't stop there, my friends! Our MD had big dreams, and he didn't let anything hold him back. He went on to buy the biggest hire company in the UK, the incredible Fun Food Co. 🍫 Talk about sweet success!

Now, let's fast forward to 2023 - Woohoo! 🎉 It's our 15th birthday bash! 🎂 That's right, we've been spreading the party fever for a whole 15 years! 🎈 We've seen it all - from epic dance-offs to massive candy buffets, and we're just getting started! 😉

For our MD, it's never been just about making a quick buck.
